The City of Thorold, Ontario covers 32 sq. miles and has a population over 18,000.  The deployment in Thorold is the first of many multi-city projects in Canada for ReliaClear.  The Strix Gold partner is providing the design, deployment and operations of commercial, municipal and public safety networks across the Ontario province and Niagara region.  ReliaClear established anchor tenancy with the municipality of Thorold in which services, including Internet and virtual voice are delivered in concert with city-wide and mobile Wi-Fi at a reasonable cost.  In return the city provides access to street lights and other municipal wireless mesh access points for equipment installation.
