Abhishek Javeri, CEO
Mr. Javeri has been instrumental in spreading the cause of Wireless Mesh Networking in India and is investing significantly in setting up wireless networks in the Indian subcontinent. A Graduate of Northwestern University in Economics and International Studies. He has been involved in several prominent Indian Corporations to develop and implement WiFi based solutions such an IPTV Platform for a large Indian Telecom Company, Healthcare Solutions for a large Conglomerate's Healthcare Division and several projects for corporations involved in setting up large Infrastructure Projects. He is also the Director of a prominent Indian Chemical Company.
Martin Levetin, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Mr. Levetin has held many significant industry positions throughout his esteemed career. Prior to joining Strix he was VP of NeoReach Wireless, where he pioneered the municipal wireless business, establishing a key position as a leading municipal wireless operator. Mr. Levetin was the founder and CEO of Evergreen Open Broadband, a pioneer in the wholesale wireless model, CEO of Sharegate and was the founder and COO of CopperCom, where he pioneered a new class of integrated voice-data DSL products. Among other positions, Mr. Levetin was the CEO of Socket Communications and a Venture Partner at Blueprint Ventures. He holds BS and PHD degrees in EE from Northeastern and an MS in Management from Pace University.
Kevin Saldanha, Director, Business Development & Strategy
Kevin joined the Strix Systems management team in August 2011. Prior to joining Strix Systems, he worked for a Private Equity management firm in India. He was the co-founder of Telcom Global Solutions, an engineering services organization that was founded in Irving, TX in 1999 and was later acquired by Flextronics Network Services. In his role as V.P. Global Engineering Services, he was responsible for growing the engineering business, crafting innovative solutions for clients in the Telecommunications industry in the Americas, Europe, and South East Asia. His 15 years of experience in the design, deployment, and operations of wireless networks provide Strix Systems additional leadership in the professional services arena. He has a M.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and was awarded the Gold medal for his Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
Jason Bawcom, Vice President, Worldwide Solutions and Services
Jason is Vice President of Worldwide Solutions and Services for Strix Systems, Inc. and oversees strategic product and business solutions, product and market delivery, systems engineering, professional services, technical support services and training. Mr. Bawcom has been with Strix since 2003 and previously served as Director of WW Technical Sales and Services. In addition to his responsibilities, he is also involved in research and development, market development, and strategic engagements with worldwide customers. Mr. Bawcom has over 17 years in LAN/WAN networking and telecommunications and 7 years in radio frequency engineering.
Gabi Abraham, System Architect
Gabi has more than 13 years of experience in networking and system architecture design. He has been instrumental in designing architectures for wireless mesh networking products used for indoor, outdoor and large scale applications.Prior to joining Strix, he worked with Ascend/Lucent Technologies. He has been awarded the Bell Labs "Stinger" award for ATM DSLAM. Gabi is a graduate from Tel-Aviv Unviversity with major in mathematics and computer science. Gabi has also done Software Engineering from Digi International.
Francis Joseph Ganapathi, Product Development
Francis Ganapathi has 21 years of experience working in the field of embedded/DSP wireless product development based on WiMax LTE, WLAN, and WiFi standards. He has worked at various organizations such as CRL-BEL, TI, NSM, C-cube, Philips, Intel, Vortex and has one U.S. patent to his credit. While at Stanford University, he contributed to the development of MIMO technology for the Smart Antennas Group.
