Modules
The Access/One® Network IWS is the most flexible wireless
networking system available in the market today. This product flexibility is
demonstrated in a number of different ways, but none more clearly than with the
modular nature of the Strix hardware.
An Access/One Network IWS node is made up of a number of modules that are stacked together in a particular configuration to form a Network Node. The exact configuration of the node is dependent on a number of different factors including:
- How the node will be powered- AC or PoE
- How the node will be deployed – using Ethernet or Strix wireless mesh functionality
- What type or types of technologies will be supported – 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, or a mix of the three
- And what antenna or antennas will be used – integrated, external, or both
Users have the ability to design custom nodes to meet their individual configuration requirements. It is easy to see why Strix Systems has the most flexible wireless networking system available today.
