STRIX SYSTEMS NAMED FASTEST-GROWING HIGH TECH COMPANY IN LOS ANGELES AREA
CALABASAS, Calif., November 28, 2006

CORE NEWS FACTS

Strix Systems announced today that both the Los Angeles Business Journal and the San Fernando Valley Business Journal named it as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the Los Angeles area.

The Los Angeles Business Journal ranks Strix as the fastest-growing high-tech company in Los Angeles and the second-fastest growing company overall, with revenues increasing 693 percent from mid-2004 to mid-2006. Simultaneously, Strix was honored by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal.  The company also recently won the Leading Lights Award in the Best Marketing (Private Company) category, given by Light Reading, the world’s leading on-line publication for the telecom industry.

Emphasizing Strix’s growth, the Wireless Mesh Equipment Market Tracker, which is published by Heavy Reading, in September, confirmed Strix Systems as the industry leader having shipped more mesh radios—16,100—than any other vendor in 1H2006, making it the leader in wireless mesh networks with a 22 percent market share.

Strix dominates the international market.  Among its customers is the Public Security Bureau of the City of Beijing, which has deployed Strix products to provide a public safety system as part of preparations for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.  Kenya Data Networks has selected Strix to create its new Butterfly® Wi-Fi service, which will ultimately provide seamless connectivity throughout Kenya.  And AENA, the Spanish Airport Authority, has selected Strix systems to provide wireless data, voice, and video for all 23 of Spain’s airport operations.

Strix technical superiority was also acknowledged earlier this year through independent testing. The company won the first independent wireless mesh test, which was held by Iometrix and sponsored by and published in Light Reading.

COMMENTARY
“Calabasas Company Makes a Name in Wi-Fi Industry,” San Fernando Valley Business Journal, Nov. 20, 2006 – “Even with the wi-fi market still in relative infancy, Strix Systems pulls in the sales.  (Strix’s) growth is the result of three factors: excellence in technology, an expanding market, and increasing consumer demand.”

Bruce Brown, Chairman and CEO, Strix Systems – “To be evaluated against other companies and named one of the fastest-growing companies in the dynamic Los Angeles region really lets us know we’re on the right track.  Strix has the best technology, we caught the market early, we positioned ourselves properly, and we made sure we had offices in China, Japan, and Europe as those markets emerged.  This year we’ll grow by more than 300 percent over last year, and we expect to see that kind of growth continue.”

About Strix OWS and IWS
The Strix Access/One OWS modular mesh products deliver the largest capacity (up to six radios and 768 users per node, three to six times the norm), highest throughput (five times the norm at 35 Mbps), and best scalability (users can add more radio boards, WiMAX modules, or new technologies). An independent wireless mesh test sponsored by Light Reading and completed in June 2006 found Strix’s OWS 2400-30 delivers the best throughput and capacity, the greatest scalability for voice applications, and the best mobility/roaming.  Strix networks scale to 10 or more wireless hops with near-zero throughput loss and latency.  Customers can deliver real-time applications with a minimum of wired connections for a given area, which reduces CapEx and OpEx.
