WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., TOKYO, Japan– December 1, 2003 – Strix Systems, Inc. today announced that it has signed an agreement with PSI Inc., who will distribute the Strix Access/One™ Network wireless local area networking system in Japan. The Strix Access/One™ Network serves all wireless devices using 802.11 a/b/g, Bluetooth, or future RF technologies simultaneously on a single enterprise network. “The Japanese market is dynamic for wireless networking and is leading the world in customer adoption of WLAN. We are excited to have the opportunity to address the needs of the Japanese market with PSI, a company that understands not only how to service the wireless LAN market, but can also offer top tier technical support and distribution capabilities,” said Jay Yang, VP of Asia Pacific. “Since 1975 PSI has had a solid track record of addressing total customer satisfaction, a key element we expect from our partners.”

Strix Systems Products
The Strix Systems Access/One Network represents the next generation of wireless LAN products, leaping past the traditional access point and emerging switch architecture to Mesh; a self-discovering, self-configuring, self-tuning, and self-healing wireless network incorporating robust security and comprehensive management within a single wireless network. The Access/One Network consists of various modules, designed to stack on top of one another to form a network node. Multiple network nodes discover and connect to each other through a mesh topology to form a unique   wireless system for each organization. The Access/One Network can be configured and managed via Manager/One, a comprehensive management platform that allows IT administrators to control all key elements of their wireless network. In addition Strix Systems offers Architect/One, an intuitive wireless network-planning tool for Strix partners that designs and builds a radio frequency (RF) coverage map based on specific network requirements.
